"Tiger Wong seamlessly merged and transformed his signature ephemeral blue ceramic practice to the crude concrete brick walls of the shop in<Φ> (2020), created while contemplating the tumultuous past year and a half in Hong Kong. Consisting of chained concrete cast sculptures protruding from the walls and even hanging from the ceiling, the installation’s severe, tactile yet palatable aesthetic made a visceral impact."
